Rock the Opera brings rock classics to the stage with a symphony orchestra: the Symphonic Rock Orchestra conducted by Friedemann Riehle, with four singers, a drummer and a guitarist. The programme features songs by Pink Floyd, Queen, Deep Purple, AC/DC and Scorpions, among others.
I was the lighting operator for their concerts in 2022 and 2023, on grandMA3:
- 2022: Tonhalle Düsseldorf, Kurhaus Wiesbaden and Opéra Royal de Wallonie in Liège
- 2023: Kurhaus Wiesbaden, Opéra Royal de Wallonie in Liège and Philharmonie Berlin
